A group of miners did diamond panning in semi-traditional diamond mining in Cempaka, Banjarbaru, Indonesia.  The group consist of 5-10 people submerges in this dirty water from dawn until sunset to seek the beautiful princes called diamond. The diamonds are getting rare from time to time, so it is quite often that they get nothing for days. If they find a piece of diamond, they sell it to the middle man. Then, the money are shared among miners, sponsor (pump machine owner), and land owner (Foto:Kurniawan (2009) in Flickr).
