Ramadan Mubarak. One of The Five Pillars of Islam, fasting is seen as a privilege and blessing by many Muslims. It is believed that fasting in the holy month of Ramadan is a means of penance for some committed sins. Fasting involves refraining from food and drink from dusk until dawn, among other things. During Ramadan, Muslims are encouraged to maximize act of worship and charity; and it should be continued until the next Ramadan (Photo: Kurniawan (2018) in Flickr).
